How This Site Works:
Everyone gets to make one post stating their views/position on spec work and design contests.
Everyone can post as many comments as they wish on theirs or anyone elses original posts.
Everyone gets 1 vote. You can vote for people who share the same view as you (against spec work or for spec work), the posts with the most votes get ranked highest. You can switch or take back your vote at any point.
There are three account types, depending on how you feel about spec work: |
1. "Pro Spec Work" accounts: users with "Pro" accounts can only post "Pro" views and vote on other "Pro" users posts.
2. "No Spec Work" accounts: users with "No" accounts can only post "No" views and vote on other "No" users posts.
3. "Neutral" accounts: if someone has not yet made up their mind about spec work but wants to comment on other peoples posts they can create a "neutral" account. Users with "neutral" accounts cannot vote or post their own view, they need to change their account to
"Pro" or "No" before they can vote or post their own views.
